“Fto & Fito” Campaign

The promotional campaign “Fto & Fito” provides existing BKT customers using the BKT Smart application the opportunity to invite their friends to register as new customers through the Digital Onboarding process and benefit from a financial bonus upon meeting the conditions set forth in this campaign.
 
Terms & Conditions

1. Campaign Period
The campaign will run from April 17 to July 17, 2026.
 
2. Participation in the Campaign
The campaign is valid for:
  • Individual customers who have an active account in BKT Smart and, during the campaign period, share a referral code with their friends, which may be used only during the first-time registration process in BKT via the BKT Smart application.
  • Individual customers who have an active account in BKT Smart and, during the previous “Fto & Fito” campaign (December 2025), made referrals where the invited friend successfully registered in BKT Smart using a referral code but did not perform any transaction until April 15, 2026.
3. Criteria for a Successful Referral
A referral is considered successful only when the following conditions are met:

For referrers during the current campaign:
  1. The invited friend registers as a BKT customer through the Digital Onboarding process in the BKT Smart application using the referral code during registration.
  2. Within 30 days from the date of registration in BKT Smart, the invited friend performs at least one valid transaction with a minimum value of 1,000 ALL through the BKT Smart application.
For referrers from the previous campaign (December 2025):
  1. The invited friend registered as a BKT customer through the Digital Onboarding process in the BKT Smart application during December 2025 using the referral code but did not perform any transaction until April 15, 2026.
  2. Within 30 days from the start of the current campaign, the invited friend performs at least one valid transaction with a minimum value of 1,000 ALL through the BKT Smart application.
BKT reserves the right to verify the validity of these referrals prior to granting the bonus.

4. Rewards
For each successful referral, the Referring Customer will receive a bonus of 500 ALL*.
The Referring Customer may invite an unlimited number of friends and will be rewarded for each successful referral, up to a maximum total limit of 50,000 ALL during the campaign period.
The respective bonus will be credited to the Referring Customer’s primary account in ALL after the fulfillment of the conditions and completion of the verification process by the Bank.
Depending on the moment when the conditions are fulfilled, the bonus may be credited during the campaign period or after its completion, within the following month.
BKT reserves the right to verify the validity of transactions and to reject referrals that are deemed suspicious, manipulated, or carried out for unfair gain.
*A withholding tax of 15% will be applied to the bonus amount in accordance with the applicable fiscal legislation.
 
5. Campaign Communication
BKT may communicate with customers regarding this campaign through:
  • push notifications in the BKT Smart application
  • SMS
  • email
These communications aim to inform and remind customers about the conditions and deadlines for receiving the bonus.
 
6. Rules for the Use of the Referral Code
  • The user must not share the referral code in a misleading, aggressive, intrusive manner or in violation of data protection legislation.
  • The creation of fake accounts, use of false identities, simulation of transactions, or any action aimed at manipulating the Program is strictly prohibited.
  • The Referral Code may not be sold, lent, or made available to third parties in exchange for compensation in any form.
  • The use of the Referral Code does not automatically guarantee receiving the bonus. Eligibility depends on verification and fulfillment of the criteria by BKT.
  • BKT reserves the right to request additional confirmations or documentation if there are suspicions that the referral has not been carried out in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Referring User and the invited friend undertake to use the Referral Code in compliance with Albanian legislation and any other applicable regulations.
  • BKT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages related to participation in the Program, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of reputation, technical issues, application malfunctions, or any other material or non-material damages.
  • BKT shall not be liable for:
    a. misuse of the code by the Referring User,
    b. failure of the invited friend to complete the registration,
    c. invalid transactions or transactions that do not meet the criteria,
    d. technical delays, internet issues, or service interruptions.
BKT reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, unilaterally and without prior notice. The customer acknowledges and agrees that they shall have no right to raise any complaint, claim, or request for compensation against the Bank in relation to such modification, suspension, or termination.
 
7. Privacy and Personal Data
  • Personal data is processed by BKT solely for the purpose of implementing the “Fto & Fito” campaign, verifying referrals, and rewarding participants. BKT may process data including: name, contact details, ID, transaction data, and referral code usage information for verification, auditing, and internal control purposes. BKT will not share the Referring User’s data with the invited friend and vice versa, except where required by law or competent authorities.
  • Data will be retained until the end of the campaign and for the audit period in accordance with applicable banking legislation.
  • Personal data processing is carried out in compliance with Law No. 124/2024, applicable by-laws, KSHBI, and BKT Privacy Policies.

8. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Referral Code or participating in the Program, the customer confirms that they accept all the Terms and Conditions set forth in this document.
