What is a standing instruction?

A standing instruction is an order you give to our bank to pay a fixed amount to someone else or to one of your own BKT accounts on a regular basis, for a set amount of time. Standing Instruction is the best way to pay: Rent, Subscription, Membership fee, School fee, Insurance premium, etc.

How do I set up a standing order?

By coming only one time in one of our branches, you may order BKT to transfer from your account to the beneficiary account the choose standing instruction for desired periodicity with or without expire date. The payments are taken from your account on agreed dates, usually monthly.

How do I cancel a standing order?

Standing instructions can't be cancelled online. To cancel one of standing orders, please visit your nearest BKT branch.

How can I know if my standing order has been executed?

BKT offers you the possibility to be informed when the standing instruction is executed anytime through BKT Smart Notification. You just need to register on BKT Smart application, which can be downloaded on Android (PlayStore) or iOS phone (AppStore).

What is the difference between a Direct Debit and a Standing Order?
