BKT obtains ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for information security management
BKT has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS), confirming the implementation of a structured and effective framework for the management of information security risks.
The certification was awarded by TÜV Austria, following an independent audit process in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
This certification attests that the Bank ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, in line with established international practices and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The scope of the certification includes key areas of the Bank’s operations, notably its headquarters, data center and document archive, reflecting a comprehensive and consistent approach to information security across critical functions.
Information security forms an integral part of BKT’s governance framework and risk management practices. The certification supports the Bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen resilience to evolving cyber threats and to safeguard the interests of customers, counterparties and other stakeholders.
It is valid until 16 June 2029 and is subject to periodic surveillance audits to ensure continued compliance and further development of the Information Security Management System.
