On the 23rd of November, in Durrës was celebrated the reopening of the historical branch of BKT. The building is witness to almost 100 years of history. The National Bank of Albania was founded on November 29, 1925 and transferred to the current BKT Durrës branch building on November 1928. The building who underwent an in-depth reconstruction the last years has the status of ‘’Category II, cultural monument’’.
On the event participated the Board of Directors of BKT, the high management, employees of the Bank, the prefect of Durrës, the Mayor of Durrës, individual and business customer of the bank and many other partners.
On his greeting speech the Chairman of the Board of Director of BKT, Mr. Mehmet Usta said that ‘’ The reopening of our Durres branch marks more than a restoration; it signifies the dawn of a new era in our service model which will be first applied here. We aim to provide a seamless customer experience, merging digitalization, modern design, and professional staff support. Our transformed branches will offer personalized services, blending the latest technology with a human touch.
